INVITATION

Join the Slovenian electrical power engineers on 21st, 22nd and 23rd of May 2019 at 14th Conference of Slovenian Electric Power Engineers, which will take place at Thermana Laško hotel & spa complex. Expand your knowledge, sharpen your skills, meet the right people and share your experiences with leading experts in Slovenian electrical power sector!
Through technical papers and presentations, experts in the electric power domain will present new methods, findings and experiences that were obtained during their research and practical projects implemented in the recent years in Slovenia as well as abroad. The papers deal with preferential topics in study comitees.
The conference will offer rich technical activities with domestic and foreign presentations. We will also take care of relaxation and networking with various social events, cocktail breaks and galla dinner with live music. INVITATION FOR ABSTRACT, PAPER AND PRESENTATION SUBMISSION

The authors who wish to actively participate on the 14th Conference of Slovenian Electric Power Engineers and present their papers to the broader expert public are kindly invited to submit their Abstracts, papers and presentations. On the web page you can find the information relevant for the authors and the list of study comitees that are applicable to your papers. The authors that wish to participate must first submit the paper’s abstract, which needs to include the following information:

  • Title of the paper, full names of all authors and short abstract (max. 500 words),
  • Under which study commitee and preferential topic are you submitting the paper.

The abstract/paper/presentation submission is done via web portal, every submitted paper must be categorized into appropriate study comittee depending on the preferential topics.

  • Abstract submission deadline: 25th January 2019
  • The authors will receive reviewer’s responses to the submitted abstracts by: 10th February 2019
  • Final paper submission deadline: 15th April 2019

All the submitted abstracts will be reviewed by persidents and secretaries of the study comitees that will determine the adequacy of the papers. The papers that will be rejected by study comitees will be further reviewed by technical comitee CIGRE, that will make the final decision upon acceptance/rejection of the study comitee rejected paper. The titles of all the papers that will be presented in the conference will be listed in the next issue of Messages no. 41 (February 2019) and on Website https://www.cigre-cired.si. The final papers will have to be submitted until 15th of April 2019.

The payment of the conference fee is mandatory for all conference participants. The member of National Comitee CIGRE Slovenia and people employed in collective member companies will have a 15 % discount. The conference fees are:

  • fee for CIGRE-CIRED members: 250 € + DDV;
  • fee for non-members: 300 € + DDV;
