MB and TAC Meeting – Sarajevo, June 3, 2025

The SEERC Management Board and Technical Advisory Committee held a meeting on June 3, 2025, in Sarajevo, ahead of the 5th SEERC Conference. Key topics included the approval of previous meeting minutes, a proposal for new SEERC awards, and a report on SEERC's activities during the Bosnian presidency (2023–2025).

The finalized program for the 5th SEERC Conference was presented, featuring 137 accepted papers from 24 countries, with over 400 participants expected. The meeting concluded with the official handover of the SEERC presidency to NC CIGRE Croatia and the election of Mr. Vice Oršulić as the new MB Chair. The MB approved that the next SEERC Conference will be held in three years. This decision was made to align the timing of SEERC final conferences with the term of the CIGRE National Committee currently presiding over SEERC. Moving forward, the conferences will be held every two years, ensuring that the schedule corresponds with the duration of each presidency mandate.
